InterviewStreet is now planning to conduct small coding challenges (CodeSprints) every week. Those who pass through this level will be qualified for interviews from hiring companies.

So, if you are interested, then there is hardly anytime for the next CodeSprint.

It going to be held on February 25 from 11am (PST). Find the timing for other time zones here. Do note that 19 companies will recruiting from this challenge.

Note: This Feb 25th codesprint is open to all programmers able to work in the US and Canada without company sponsorship.

Recently funded by Y-combinator, InterviewStreet is an Indian start-up which helps companies select the suitable candidates by conducting mock tests / coding challenges.

In December 2011, it has organized its second biggest CodeSprint for which more than 5000 have participated. Almost 1/6th of these who have applied to companies are in the final round of interviews – says co-founder Vivek Ravi Shankar.

Among the applicants, Facebook was the most desirable employer with Microsoft and Quora following it.

If you cannot wait to try getting a job at Facebook – participate in the Coding challenge to get a Facebook phone interview.

The next big CodeSprint by Interview Street is likely to be in May. In the meanwhile, it is also planning smaller duration (4 to 5 hours) programming challenges. The next one being on Feb 25.

Also there are plans to conduct such small CodeSprints one or two per week through March.
