Apple iPhone 5 in India
Finally there are reports that Apple iPhone 5 is going to be officially launched in India on October 26th,2012.
iPhone 5 not carrier specific in India
Another good news is that this year the iPhone 5 wont be sold by Airtel and Aircel, the official distributors of Apple iPhone in India. Instead Apple will be selling it directly and so there wont be any long contract periods with the carriers.
India is one of the countries where the samrtphone usage is increasing rapidly. But still iPhone is being used by only a few here. Tim Cook, Apple CEO, does recognize the importance of India to iPhone – a country which has fast growth rates in smartphone usage. So, isn’t the reason behind iPhone 5 being distributed by Apple clear ?
iPhone 5 price in India
The price of iPhone 5 in India could be around the same price as that of iPhone 4S introductory price in India. (which will definitely be more than $800).
The carriers in India are already placing orders for Nano SIM cards for the iPhone 5.
iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 prices dropped
As expected, the prices of iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 are going to be dropped with the launch of iPhone 5 in India.

On October 26th Apple will launch Iphone 5 in India. Iphone 5 have great features like 4-inch Retina display and is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core A6 processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The device supports high-speed LTE networks in select markets, although India. So everyone wants this iphone 5 that makes price down of iphone 4 & 4S. but recently I have heard a news about iPhone 5 camera that camera have purple flare problem in its sapphire lens and Apple ignored all the issues said that it is normal behavior of iPhone 5 camera and the lens has nothing to do with this.
